These terms apply to your use of this website and to enquiries you make through it. They set out who we are, what we do, and what you can expect from us at the enquiry and quoting stage. A separate written quote and scope of works governs any repair we carry out for you, and where that document and these terms differ, the quote and scope prevail.

Who we are

Perth Building Inspection Repairs is a Perth based building repair and maintenance business specialising in the rectification of defects identified in building inspection reports. We are a registered builder, Registered Builder BC105295, ABN 33 695 707 343, operating across the Perth metropolitan area.

What we do

We specialise in roof and subfloor repairs, with a focus on major structural defects. This includes sagging roof underpurlins, strapping installs, rafter and collar tie repairs, subfloor bearer and joist replacements, stumping, cross-bracing, and general timber structural defects identified during building inspections.

Where required, structural repairs are supervised and formally signed off by our registered builder or a structural engineer depending on the defect, so that the work is compliant with the Building Code of Australia and the relevant Australian Standards.

Enquiries and quotes

We respond to enquiries the same business day. Quotes are free, itemised and provided without obligation. A quote is based on the inspection report, the information you give us and, where we have attended, what was visible and accessible at the time. It is not a commitment to carry out work until you accept it in writing and we confirm a booking.

If the defect proves to be different in extent from what the report described once the area is opened up, we will tell you before continuing and provide a revised scope and price for your approval.

Access to the property

You do not need to be present during the repairs. We can coordinate access with your agent or the relevant parties. You are responsible for arranging safe and lawful access to the work area for the agreed period, and for telling us about anything on site that affects safety.

We keep you updated throughout with photo progress reports and communication at every stage, and provide a completion report at handover.

Photographs of the work

We photograph work areas before, during and after a job, for quoting, job management, quality assurance and completion reporting. We may ask to use before and after photographs of completed work in our marketing. Where we do, we seek your consent first and we do not identify your address. This is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
